Through years of teaching at different levels with various age groups, post-graduate education, including extensive educational research, and professional development programs, the teachers of SacramEducate passionately figure out ways each individual learns most effectively.  We realize half the battle is providing an environment in which an individual can gain confidence.  Once a student becomes confident in his or her abilities, he or she becomes motivated to continue to improve.  Students of all ages need someone to patiently help them awaken their minds, and help them learn how to learn in a positive environment.  We have the opportunity to do this together and with you, the community.

SacramEducate:  For the Sacramento Community

Unlike the numerous educational franchises, SacramEducate is a true community learning center and strives to develop a familial relationship with the students and the parents.  If students’ attitudes are heavily influenced and developed by their family, we must create a family atmosphere.  In addition, if we want the students to be curious and desire to continue to learn outside of school, we must truly blur the lines that separate the two entities, school and home.  If this goal is achieved, students will seamlessly apply the strategies learned in the center. 

Parents, too, must feel comfortable with the center as an extension of their own homes.  Our teachers continuously encourage parents to work with their children at home.  However, if parents feel inadequate, we want them comfortable enough to ask us for advice and strategies to help their children at home.  In doing so, they will be encouraged to create a home environment conducive of learning.
